People from different walks of life pay respects to departed BJP leader Naresh Chaudhary

Thousands of people from different sections of society on Monday gathered at the Talkatora Stadium to pay respects to the Delhi BJP’s Naresh Chaudhary who passed away on June 19. He was 62.

BJP National Organisation General Secretary BL Santosh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Vijay Ji, party’s Shiv Prakash, VHP International President Alok Kumar, Vinod Tawde, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh, Delhi BJP chief Harsh Malhotra, RSS Delhi representative Anil Gupta, Dayanand and Palam 360 Khap chief Surender Solanki among others paid respects and offered condolences to Chaudhary’s wife Manju Chahal, his younger brother and NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal, and family.

A large number of people coming from Delhi’s rural belt under leadership of Surender Solanki also came to pay respects to the senior Delhi BJP leader and gave a turban to the bereaved family as a mark of respect.

Condolence messages from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president Nitin Nabin, HM Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and LG Delhi Taranjit Sandhu were read during the remembrance meeting.

Chaudhary was known for his simplicity and the way he connected with the people on ground, while also was respected across the Delhi’s rural belt.
