A two-day free artificial limb implantation camp was held from July 26 to 27 at Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar. The camp, jointly organised by Patanjali Wellness and Uddhaar Jeffries, Nagpur, aimed to empower differently-abled individuals by providing them with mobility and support devices.

Over 250 Divyang beneficiaries received artificial hands, legs, callipers, crutches, and other assistive devices free of cost during this public service initiative.

Both organisations have committed to organising similar camps every three to four months to continue their mission of service and empowerment.

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, founder of Patanjali Yogpeeth, and Acharya Balkrishna, Joint General Secretary, were present at the camp. They personally distributed the assistive devices and inspired the recipients to move forward on the path to self-reliance.

Speaking at the event, Baba Ramdev said, “They are not disabled, but divine souls. What they need is not sympathy, but empowerment.”

Acharya Balkrishna also interacted with the beneficiaries and remarked, “Patanjali’s mission is not just Ayurvedic health, but making every individual self-reliant — this is our true service to the nation.”

The camp was successfully organised with the support of Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Uddhaar Seva Samiti, experienced doctors, skilled technicians, and dedicated volunteers from the Patanjali Seva Department.

In addition to the distribution of devices, arrangements were made for measurements, fittings, physiotherapy, and counselling sessions to ensure a holistic support system for the beneficiaries.

This initiative served not only as a means of physical aid but also as a source of motivation and empowerment, reinforcing the inner strength of the Divyangjans.

The camp reflects Patanjali Yogpeeth’s deep commitment to humanitarian and national service. Key attendees included Swami Videhdev, Swami Punya Dev, Sister Pooja, and members of the Uddhaar team management. The camp’s success was made possible with the support of Sanjay, Ruchika Agarwal, Shruti, Pradhuman, Ravi, Divyanshu, Krishna, Niharika, Divya, Deendayal, and many other volunteers.
