India on Thursday said Pakistan has a history of clandestine nuclear proliferation which poses a threat to global peace.
‘’It is for everybody to see and observe Pakistan’s clandestine nuclear proliferation and the risk it poses to the international community,’’ Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at a media briefing.
He was reacting to a testimony of US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard before the Senate Intelligence Committee in which she identified Pakistan among the countries that pose the most significant nuclear threats to America.
The spokesperson strongly condemned airstrikes by Pakistan on a hospital in Kabul in which nearly 400 people were killed. He said such incidents vitiate the atmosphere in the region and are not helpful at all in ensuring peace.
