Haryana HM sets 3-month deadline to resolve police complaints
Re-investigation into the complaints should be carried out by the DSPs who haven’t dealt with the case before.
After Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, the period movie “Padmaavat” has been banned in Haryana too. So, Haryana is the fourth BJP-ruled state to ban Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie.
In a Tweet, Haryana’s Health Minister Anil Vij said, “Film Padmavati/Padmavat banned in Haryana.” The decision to ban the movie was taken in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

The Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Padmaavat’ is set to be released on January 25.
The historical drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali had gone through a lot of controversies — be it death threat to actor Deepika Padukone or damaging the sets during its shooting.
Padmaavat’s release is already behind schedule as there were widespread protests by Rajput outfits, alleging that the movie portrayed their community in poor light.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) finally cleared it after suggesting some cuts.
