If any public or local holiday is declared by the government during the examination period, even then the exams would be conducted according to the same schedule.
OTET 2018: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has invited applications for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), 2018. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website – www.bseodisha.ac.in
OTET is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII.
All the information like applicability and eligibility of candidates, instructions for PH candidates, online registration, and syllabus and structure are available on the official website of Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

Dates to remember:
• Online application starts: November 12, 2018
• Online application ends: November 27, 2018
• Payment of fee: November 27, 2018
Academic qualification:
• For academic qualification, the candidates can click on the link provided here.
Examination Scheme:
• OTET 2018 will have two papers.
• The total duration of the test in each paper will be of 2 and a half hours.
• The questions will be multiple choice with each question carrying one mark.
• These languages shall be offered in Language – I:- Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali
• There will be no negative marking.
