Odisha to conduct combined graduate-level recruitment test
The move aims at streamlining the recruitment process and completing the recruitment examinations in a reasonable time period.
OSSC recruitment 2019: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has released an official notification inviting applications for filling up Sub-Inspector and Station Officer posts. Interested candidates should apply for the above-stated posts on the official website- ossc.gov.in only after the publication of the detailed notification.
Vacancy details:
• SI Police: 143 posts

• SI Police (Armed): 130 posts
• Station Officer: 10 posts
Academic qualification:
• The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates applying for the posts of Station Officer must be Science or Engineering graduate.
Age limit:
• Interested candidates must be between 21 and 25 years of age.
Examination schedule:
• The candidates must go through Preliminary examination, Mains examination, Physical Measurement Test, assessment of weightage marks and viva voce.
Examination fee:
• SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
• All other candidates have to pay Rs 200.
