Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated clearly on Tuesday that no sect, religion, or caste can be greater than the nation.

“Our goal should be nation first. If the nation is one, we are one. Obstruction in the path of Vande Mataram is the biggest obstacle to national unity,” he claimed.

The CM urged the countrymen to recognize those who stand first in line to grab government schemes but say they will not sing Vande Mataram. These obstacles to national unity must be removed. Casteism, nepotism, regional politics, divisions in the name of religion and creed, the evil tendencies in society, and the act of pitting brother against brother, caste against caste, and region against region must never be accepted.

Recently, CM Yogi had announced that reciting Vande Mataram would be made compulsory in all the schools of the state.

CM Yogi made this statement while participating in the launch of Rashtriya Ekta Yatra of Kursi Assembly Constituency here on Tuesday as part of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Bharat Ratna, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

He also inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of 254 development projects worth Rs 1734 crore in Barabanki.

The CM said in a harsh tone that even today, some people will eat from India but will not sing Vande Mataram.

“We understand their intentions. Those opposing Vande Mataram are opposing Bharat Mata. Vande Mataram is a prayer to Bharat Mata. It symbolizes the voice sung for Bharat Mata, which expresses the feelings of the heart. We have gained the power to advance India and Indianness by worshipping the Goddess in her three forms (Maa Durga, Maa Saraswati, Maa Lakshmi). We have urged every citizen to join Vande Mataram and strengthen nationalism. This song, sung by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and sung by revolutionaries kissing the noose of the gallows, is being opposed. There should be no place for this opposition, ” he clearly said.
