Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati visited the Corporate Office of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) in Bhubaneswar on Friday and planted a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, underscoring the importance of environmental sustainability and green development.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NALCO, Brijendra Pratap Singh, along with the company’s Directors and senior officials, extended a warm welcome to the Governor.
During the visit, Kambhampati held fruitful discussions with NALCO’s leadership team. He lauded the company for its vital role as the only Central Public Sector Enterprise headquartered in Odisha and for its contribution to the state’s industrial growth. He also commended the company’s efforts in aligning with the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.
