Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Meets PM Narendra Modi to Discuss State Development

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday in New Delhi.

The meeting focused on the state’s holistic progress, with discussions on accelerating growth in infrastructure, welfare, and employment.

“Today, I had the privilege of meeting the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji. I am grateful for his inspiration and unwavering support for Odisha’s development,” CM Majhi said in a post on his social media handle X.

“On this occasion, important discussions were held regarding various developmental activities in Odisha, future strategies, coordination between the Center and the State, and accelerating the state’s overall progress. The Center and the State are committed to working together to achieve the goal of a prosperous Odisha and a developed India,” Majhi said.

The meeting comes after CM Majhi attended the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog, where discussions on civil defence preparedness and Operation Sindoor were held.

The Prime Minister’s Office also released a statement confirming the meeting, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the state and central governments.
