Nobody can stop the juggernaut of India’s growth and company secretaries will have a major role in writing a new chapter in the country’s transformation said Union Petroleum and Skill Development Minister at the congregation of Company secretarie’s Golden Jubilee Year National Convention (46th Edition) and International Conference (6th Edition) here on Friday.
Mr Dharmendra Pradhan said, “The 21st century belongs to Asian countries. Within Asia, India is the preferred destination for global investments.”
He gave an insight to ‘Skill Development in India’ and said, “That, to achieve the vision of Skilled India, the National Skill Development Mission is not only consolidating and coordinating skilling efforts, but also implementing a streamlined institutional mechanism driven by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).”

He appreciated the ICSI in its initiative to launch a Three month certificate Course on Certified CSR Professional.
While launching the Course, Pradhan said, “These three months Certificate Courses on Certified CSR Professional by ICSI will not only help the corporate in their CSR initiatives with a trained workforce to handle CSR activities across India, but will also provide job opportunities to those who want to work in this specialised field.”
