Even as trends indicate a landslide majority for the NDA in the Bihar assembly polls, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and BJP election co-in-charge of Bihar, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Friday, said that this time there will be no jungle raj, no gun-raj, and no hooliganism in Bihar, adding that the people have embraced the model of development.

Maurya posted on his social media account, “The counting trends clearly show that the people of Bihar have a clear stance: no jungle raj, no gun-raj, no hooliganism, no appeasement, no nepotism, no scams, no corruption, no arrogance, and no casteism.”

He stated that Bihar will only accept good governance, development, and transparent leadership under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The RJD-Congress and Company model is a mere deception, he added.

It is believed that by 3-4 pm, it will be clear whether the bumper voting in Bihar this time was to preserve the NDA or to bring Tejashwi Yadav’s government to power, he said.

The RJD, which was the largest party in the last election, has lagged behind this time, with its lead slipping below 50. The ally Congress also appears to be a weak link. However, these are only initial trends, and the picture will be clearer as the counting progresses.
