No Class 12 re-exam, CBSE rubbishes rumours

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has denied news that it would hold Class 12 re-exam for physics and economics papers. A rumour saying that the two examinations would be held again had spread widely over social media. That perhaps prompted the board to step in and call it “fake” by issuing a circular.

“It is come to the notice of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that a fake information regarding the re-conduct of examination of subject physics and economics of Class 12 is being circulated on WhatsApp. The date of this information is 28.03.2019 which has been signed by KK Choudhury, former controller of examinations. This is brought to the notice of stakeholders that the news of re-conduct of physics and economics of Class 12 is fake,” a statement issued by controller of examination Sanyam Bhardwaj said.
