BJP Punjab state general secretary Anil Sarin said Nitin Nabin will arrive in Amritsar on June 20 and begin his visit by paying obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib. He will also visit Jallianwala Bagh, Sri Durgiana Mandir and Sri Ram Tirath Mandir to pay respects and acknowledge the region’s spiritual and historical significance. Later in the day, he will proceed to Jalandhar, where party workers are expected to accord him a warm welcome.
On June 21, the BJP national president will take part in the International Yoga Day celebrations at Lovely Professional University. He will later travel to Ludhiana, where he will inaugurate the newly established district BJP office on Dugri Road and address an organisational meeting of sub-circle incharges and senior party functionaries. In the evening, he is scheduled to interact with industrialists and members of the business community.
On June 22, Nitin Nabin will meet Members of Parliament, former MPs, MLAs and former MLAs, along with youth representatives. The programme will also include a Youth Conclave, besides separate meetings with state office bearers, district presidents and members of the BJP Punjab core group.
Anil Sarin said the visit is expected to provide fresh momentum to the party’s organisational expansion in Punjab and strengthen its outreach across various sections of society. He added that party workers across the state are enthusiastic about the visit and are preparing to make it a success.
