BJP National President Nitin Nabin said in Patna on Saturday that the BJP’s journey is not merely the story of the expansion of a political party, but a historic journey of nationalism, cultural consciousness, service, struggle, and the resolve to deliver development to the last person in society.

Addressing party workers at the Patna Metropolitan District Training Camp organised under the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan,” he said the BJP’s core objective is not the attainment of power, but to place national interest above all else and ensure development and dignity reach the last person in society.

Nabin stressed that the training session was not merely a medium for acquiring information, but also an opportunity to further strengthen ideological conviction, organisational capability, and the resolve for national service.

“In the BJP, even a booth-level ‘Karyakarta’ (worker) is regarded as the backbone of the organisation. It is this Karyakarta-based culture that gives the BJP a distinct identity from other political parties,” he said.

He also inaugurated a special exhibition and said it showcased the saga of struggle, dedication, and sacrifice of party Karyakartas who devoted their entire lives to strengthening the organisation.

The BJP leader said the exhibition also highlighted the public welfare initiatives, achievements, and transformative work carried out over the past 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the developmental efforts undertaken by the double-engine government in Bihar.

He said that even during the Emergency, thousands of nationalist Karyakartas struggled and went to jail, but never abandoned their commitment to national interest and democratic values.

“The journey of the BJP is not a journey to attain power, but a journey of national service. It is a journey from struggle to success,” he added.
