BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Tuesday directed party MPs, MLAs and office-bearers in Jammu and Kashmir to intensify grassroots outreach, stressing greater coordination between elected representatives and the organisation while calling for the PM’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme to be held at every booth across the Union Territory.

Chairing a meeting of BJP MPs, MLAs, former legislators and senior organisational leaders at the party headquarters in Jammu, Nabin reviewed the political situation in J&K and outlined the party’s organisational roadmap, saying the BJP’s strength lies in its disciplined cadre and booth-level network.

BJP National General Secretary, Rajya Sabha MP, and J&K Prabhari Tarun Chugh, J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, Leader of the Opposition Sunil Sharma, and former Dy CM Dr. Nirmal Singh were present at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Nabin reviewed the prevailing socio-political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the organizational roadmap for the coming months. He emphasized that the BJP’s greatest strength lies in its disciplined organization and dedicated cadre, asserting that elected representatives and organizational workers must function as one cohesive team to further strengthen the party at the grassroots.

He said every MP, MLA and senior leader should maintain constant coordination with the party cadre, ensuring their active participation in all organizational programmes. He said that such synergy between the organization and public representatives is indispensable for strengthening the BJP’s presence across every village, ward and booth. He called upon all leaders to intensify public contact, remain accessible to the people, and effectively communicate the policies and achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government.

Laying special emphasis on the “Mann Ki Baat” programme, Nabin directed that it must be organized at every single booth across Jammu and Kashmir with maximum public participation. Through Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister has consistently highlighted ordinary citizens achieving extraordinary feats and encouraged numerous social reform movements, inspiring millions to contribute towards nation-building.

Earlier, Nabin paid floral tributes to the legendary nationalist leader and Praja Parishad founder, Pandit Prem Nath Dogra, at his statue at Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Chowk, Jammu.
Nabin described Dogra as one of the tallest architects of nationalist politics in the region. He remembered the immense contribution of Dogra to the cause of national unity and the complete integration of Jammu & Kashmir with the rest of India.
