The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted searches at multiple locations in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh as part of its investigation into the Delhi car bomb blast case.

Several digital devices and other incriminating materials were seized during the raids conducted at the premises of various accused and suspects in the two states.

A total of eight locations were searched across the districts of Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama and Awantipora in J&K, and one location in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The NIA had earlier, on November 26 and 27, carried out extensive searches at the premises of the prime accused — Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganie and Dr Shaheen Saeed — within the Al Falah University complex and other locations in Faridabad, Haryana.

A large quantity of cash, foreign currency, gold, and other incriminating items was recovered during those searches. These materials are currently being closely examined to unravel the conspiracy leading to the bombing.

The anti-terror agency has arrested seven key accused in the case so far. NIA teams are interrogating the arrested individuals while actively pursuing various leads connected to November 10 blast outside Delhi’s Red Fort, which claimed 11 lives and left several others injured.

The NIA said it continues to work closely with various state police forces to track down and arrest every member of the terrorist module involved in the attack.
