In a bid to cater to the huge rush of commuters, the Kolkata Metro Railways has decided to introduce new metro services from July 1 this year.
While the total number of services on weekdays has been kept to 284, the time for the last train to Noapara has been changed to 9.25 pm instead of 8.50 pm.
Similarly, this train which leaves Dum Dum at 9.39 pm, will now depart at 10.22 pm.

On the other hand, services on Saturdays and Sundays have been increased to 236 and 124 respectively.
On Saturday, the last train to Noapara will now leave at 9.29 pm instead of 8.50 pm.
While this train will leave from Dum Dum at 10.18 pm instead of 9.39 pm.
On Sunday, the Noapara bound train from Kavi Subhash will depart at 9.29 pm instead of 8.43 pm, while this train is to leave Dum Dum at 10.18 pm instead of 9.32 pm.
