UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the State Budget, this year, will reflect the hopes and aspirations of 25 crore people of the State.

Yogi said it after he reviewed the department-wise utilization of the funds provided in the current financial budget, and gave necessary guidelines to speed up the development works and utilization of funds.

CM said,” now only 2 months are left for the end of the financial year 2022-23. Before the end of the current fiscal, it should be ensured that the funds provided in the current budget are properly spent by all the departments. Expenditure should also be reviewed at the department level. The concerned Ministers should also review their departmental status regularly.”

According to him, the performance of the department in the current financial year should also be considered while deciding the upcoming budget provision by the Finance Department. Budget provision should be made according to the demand of the department, said Yogi.

The Chief Minister said that after the Global Investors Summit and G-20 next month, the State Budget for the next financial year will be tabled in the Assembly.

He said, “All the departments should prepare and send their proposals for the budget according to their future plans. He asked all the departments to include the points of public welfare resolution in the budget proposal but make it sure that the demand is realistic.
