Samajwadi Party’s Chief National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Ramgopal Yadav has reacted to the Centre’s decision to change the name of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to ‘Seva Teerth’.

He said, “The name does not matter, but whoever occupies the office should keep the country’s interest paramount and the party’s interest second.”

Apart from this, he also hit back at a recent statement by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in which he said that those who do not sing Vande Mataram should be pulled by their ears.

Ramgopal Yadav remarked that some leaders have started considering themselves as Prime Ministers.

“No BJP leader had any contribution in the freedom struggle,” he claimed, while adding that no one is opposing Vande Mataram.”
