Claiming that Madhya Pradesh’s industrial growth rate is the highest in the country, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav asserted on Thursday that the BJP state government has also taken several notable decisions for the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth, and women.
The CM was speaking with some mediapersons at Indore before departing for Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh to participate in various events there. Dr Yadav informed that special events would be organised on December 13 in Bhopal and on December 14 in Indore to mark the completion of two successful years of the state government.
He said that welfare efforts continue through the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign and various major projects to double irrigation coverage in the state. Emphasis is being placed on industrial development to create employment opportunities for the youth.
He stated that the industrial growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is the highest in India.
CM Dr Yadav said that the administration in the state must function on the principles of good governance. He said that the government always stands with good work, but any wrongdoing will not be tolerated.
He emphasised that a significant achievement was recorded in recent days with progress in eliminating Naxalism from the state. The largest surrender of Naxalites in the state took place in Balaghat. He noted that the goal is to eliminate Naxalism completely in the future.
