An internal controversy over the MP Congress party’s ’Talent Hunt’ drive allegedly escalated, and disgruntled MP Congress media in-charge Mukesh Nayak resigned from his post on Saturday.

However, MP Congress Chief Jitu Patwari did not accept the resignation. Patwari is learnt to have made it clear to all party leaders that internal conflicts would be solved through discussions in an amicable way.

Sources said that Nayak, a former cabinet minister, was unhappy after some of his decisions and directives regarding the Talent Hunt drive were either neglected or overruled by certain Congress leaders.

Unhappy over that, Nayak submitted his resignation to Jitu Patwari today. Although Nayak cited personal reasons behind his decision to resign.

Nonetheless, Patwari has not accepted Nayak’s resignation and has directed him to continue in the post of media cell head.
