MP CM lauds police for eliminating Naxalism

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav emphasised on Friday that the complete elimination of Naxalites from the state was akin to making the impossible possible.

He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed satisfaction over this significant achievement. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the IPS Service Meet at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium in Bhopal.

The Chief Minister congratulated police officers for their role in eliminating Naxalism from the state, stating that while policing involves numerous challenges, the police force remains steadfast in its duty with enthusiasm and commitment at all times. He said all police personnel deserve appreciation and described their discipline as commendable and exemplary.

The CM expressed happiness that the year 2025 was marked by major achievements for the state government.
“Anti-national forces are being eliminated at the grassroots by the Madhya Pradesh Police, and there is no place for organised crime in the state”, the CM asserted.

He added that the police have been achieving continuous success in the anti-drug campaign and that the government and police are moving forward together with renewed experience and resolve. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that strengthening the spirit of patriotism and public service remains the collective goal of establishing Madhya Pradesh as a model state for internal security.

He was welcomed by Director General of Police Kailash Makwana and IPS Association President Chanchal Shekhar, who presented him with a bouquet and a sapling. The Chief Minister took the ceremonial salute at the venue.
