Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said on Monday that the state ranks among the top three in India in terms of robust financial stability and sound fiscal management.
The Chief Minister made the remark after transferring incentive assistance of over Rs 169.57 crore to more than 257 MSME units with a single click under the theme ‘Samarth MSME – Viksit Madhya Pradesh’ at an event held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal. The amount was directly credited to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
He also distributed the first instalment of grant assistance amounting to over Rs 28 lakh to startups.
During the event, state MSME Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kaashyap presented a cheque of Rs 8 crore as an interim dividend from the Madhya Pradesh Small Industries Corporation to the Chief Minister.
Officials informed that under the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy and Implementation – EIR Scheme, financial assistance of Rs 3.43 crore has been approved for 286 startups across 43 districts.
Three entrepreneurs from Agar Malwa and Betul districts received industrial land allotment orders, while one entrepreneur was issued a Letter of Intent.
The Chief Minister also distributed loan cheques worth Rs 50.5 lakh to three beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Udyam Kranti Yojana. Land allotment certificates and Letters of Intent for industrial plots in various industrial areas were also issued to entrepreneurs through an online platform.
He interacted with several entrepreneurs during the event, where young business owners shared their experiences and success stories.
