Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav, commenting on the interim order of the Supreme Court on the Waqf Amendment Act, said, “We had said in Parliament that the government should not interfere in this and we hope that we will get more justice from the Supreme Court.”
“It is just an interim order on Waqf by the apex court and more relief will come soon,” he said.
While felicitating the people of Vishwakarma Samaj on Vishwakarma Jayanti at the party office here on Monday, Akhilesh Yadav said, “We and the people of Vishwakarma Samaj, who bring beauty to the society with their talent without the help of the government, are sitting here.”
“If the Samajwadi government is formed in the state, we will bring a special scheme for the progress of their society.
Without naming the BJP, the SP chief said those who talk of sadhu want no one to debate on AI. “No one should debate on power plants, not even on how our rivers should be cleaned. The dream of smart cities is shown to us but there is a lot of garbage there.
“Today, we have told the Vishwakarma community that we would fight their battle and work to restore their honour. We assure the people of the society that we will make Vishwakarma Jayanti a grand event. Our government had also declared Vishwakarma Day a holiday. We will install a statue of Lord Vishwakarma ji on Lucknow Gomti River Front and will make a golden throne,” he announced.
He announced that the SP would come up with a manifesto for every district. “We will not only bring a state-level manifesto but will also make every possible effort to increase the business of the districts by preparing a manifesto for every district of Uttar Pradesh. When the SP government is formed, handicraft businessmen and skilled people will be given their rights. Instead of taking action against criminals in Kaushambi, Kanpur and Ghazipur, compromises and caste-based encounters are taking place,” he added.
He said the budget for the One District One Product scheme is zero under the BJP rule. Carpets of Bhadohi, brass of Moradabad, and other industries are in crisis, but the government is benefiting foreign companies instead of helping the businessmen struggling with American tariffs.
Akhilesh Yadav lamented that NSA was being imposed only on Muslims, Yadavs, and backward classes. The GST has further increased inflation as profiteering is at its peak and until the BJP is in power, inflation won’t come down.
Akhilesh Yadav said when his government comes to power in the state, outsourcing would be ended and permanent jobs and permanent reservation will be ensured.
On being asked about the India-Pakistan match, he said the question should be asked to the families of the martyrs. The BJP people will not be able to face the families of the victims of the Pahalgam attack. He said the matters related to foreign policy are very sensitive.
Akhilesh Yadav said after the Bihar elections, 400 more days will remain for the UP elections. The BJP people, who rely on lies, will come down to the ground once the camera leaves them.
