Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Congress, saying the Opposition party is unable to digest the success of the Operation Sindoor.
Addressing a public gathering in Sevapuri in his Varanasi constituency, the PM said, “Congress party and their followers are unable to digest the fact that India has destroyed the hideouts of terrorists. I want to ask my fellow Indians whether you are proud of the success of Operation Sindoor or not.”
Referring to Congress MP Praniti Shinde’s Tamasha remark, the Prime Minister said, “Congress has called Operation Sindoor a tamasha, you tell me can Sindoor ever be a tamasha? Can anyone call Sindoor a tamasha? Someone please tell me should we wait to kill terrorists? Should I call Samajwadi Party (SP)to kill the terrorists?”
Modi said that New India worships Bholenath and becomes ‘Kalbhairav’ in front of enemies. The PM also highlighted the Brahmos missile production unit in Uttar Pradesh, saying, “I am an MP from UP, so I am happy that Brahmos missile will be made in UP as well. These missiles will be made in Lucknow. If Pakistan commits any sin again, the missiles made in UP will destroy the terrorists.”
He said that bank accounts of 55 crore people were opened, who had never visited a bank. Now this scheme has completed 10 years. Now the rule of the bank is that it is necessary to do KYC of the bank. I have told the bank people that people should come to the bank and do KYC, it is a good thing, but can we run a campaign.
“I salute the banks. Who are reaching every Gram Panchayat themselves to complete this KYC work. Now one lakh banks have gone to the panchayats in a month,” he disclosed.
PM Modi said that our objective is that the more backward the person, the more priority he gets. PM said that I am going to make three lakh crore Lakhpati Didi. On hearing this figure, the SP people will run away with cycles.
The Prime Minister further stated that Rs. 4.75 lakh crore was deposited in the accounts of the farmers of the country, Rs. 90,000 crore to 2.5 crore farmers of UP and Rs. 900 crore PM Shri Kisan Samman amount was deposited in the accounts of the farmers of Varanasi.
