Preparations are in full swing for the historic moment of hoisting the Dharma Dhwaj (Religious flag) on top of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Chief Minister Yogi inspected the preparations and the venues for the November 25 function on Tuesday.

After paying obeisance to Lord Hanuman at Hanumangarhi and performing puja and darshan, Yogi Adityanath proceeded to the court of Shri Ram Lalla Virajman. After the aarti, he bowed at the feet of Lord Shri Ram and performed parikrama, closely inspecting the progress of temple construction.

After the darshan and puja, officials of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust briefed the CM on the current status of the temple construction and the upcoming phases. The chief minister carefully reviewed all aspects and provided necessary guidance.

Earlier, Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Mandir Bhawan Nirman Samiti, reached Ayodhya to oversee these preparations.

While inspecting the preparations and arrangements, he stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend approximately four hours in Ayodhya during the flag hoisting ceremony on November 25.

The prime minister will begin his visit at the Sapt Rishi Temple, where prayers will be offered to the seven sages. A Vedic Acharya will perform special pujas for him amid chanting of Vedic mantras. Mr Modi will then proceed to the Sheshavatar Temple, where he will offer prayers to Lord Ram’s ardent devotee, Lakshman.

The auspicious time for hoisting the Dharma Dhwaj, the main attraction of the event, has been set from 11:58 am to 1 pm. During this sacred time, the prime minister will hoist the Dharma Dhwaj on top of the Ram Temple. He will then address the nation and formally announce the completion of the Ram Temple construction.

Nripendra Mishra informed that a mock trial of the flag hoisting was successfully conducted a day earlier, and a second mock trial was conducted today in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Security arrangements are being made at an unprecedented level in view of the Prime Minister’s arrival.

The entire eight-kilometer route from the airport to the Ram Temple is being barricaded. The SPG and other security agencies are continuously monitoring the route to ensure no lapses occur and the entire event is conducted peacefully and in a grand manner.
