Newly appointed chief secretary Shashi Prakash Goyal, who took charge from outgoing CS Manoj Singh on Thursday evening, will also serve as Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, head of the Coordination Department, Chairman of PICUP, Chief Executive Officer of the Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority and the Uttar Pradesh State Highways Authority, and Project Director of the Uttar Pradesh Diversified Agriculture Project.
According to an official communiqué, Sanjay Prasad, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Protocol, Home, Visa Passport, Vigilance, and Information and Public Relations Department, will hold additional charge as Principal Secretary of the Estate Department and the Civil Aviation Department, in addition to his current responsibilities.
