Powerful IEDs recovered near LoC ahead of polling for Udhampur seat
Reports said that the IEDs were recovered near the Line of Control (LoC) in a joint search operation by the Rashtriya Rifles of the Indian Army, CRPF and J&K Police.
Militants on Wednesday killed a soldier of an Indian Army near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The incident took place near the Choken Post in Keran sector, Defence ministry sources said.
As per officials, “The operation against the militants is still going on”.

Earlier on Tuesday, A soldier and three Pakistani militants were killed in two separate gunfights in J&K’s Kupwara district.
According to the police officials, The militants associated to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Magam area.
