Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh inaugurated the three-day Pindra Festival in Varanasi on Friday.
Extending his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the festival, he said that this festival is not just an event, but a powerful means of promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage, spiritual consciousness, and historical traditions.
“Thanks to the efforts of the Tourism and Culture Department, such events are being organized in every district of the state today, taking Uttar Pradesh’s identity to new heights globally,” he said.
The minister said, “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kashi has undergone a magnificent transformation through the Kashi Corridor, and a new chapter of development has been written. After Kashi and Ayodhya, Mathura-Vrindavan is also rapidly emerging as a strong center of Uttar Pradesh’s spiritual development triangle, where the echoes of ‘Radhe-Radhe’ and a new consciousness of culture, faith, and heritage are further strengthening the state’s identity.”
Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is doing historic work for the preservation of culture, traditions, and Indian values.
“Being born in Kashi is a matter of great fortune; it is a land that grants salvation. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, Kashi has undergone a magnificent transformation through the Kashi Corridor. Similarly, the construction of the grand temple of Lord Rama in Ayodhya after 500 years is a matter of pride for the country, and the credit for this goes to the Modi-Yogi government,” he added.
