A minor boy was killed in a stabbing incident in Delhi’s Mangolpuri area late Sunday evening after a small argument turned into a violent clash, police said.
The incident came to light after a PCR call was received around 9 pm reporting that a boy had been attacked in the locality. Police rushed to the spot and found the victim badly injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but doctors declared him dead during medical care.
The boy has been identified as Lalu, who used to work at a roadside stall with one of his relatives in the area.

Police said initial inquiry showed that Lalu had a brief argument earlier in the evening with three boys from the same locality. The dispute later escalated and during the confrontation, he was stabbed with a sharp weapon.
All three accused, who are also minors, have been taken into custody. The weapon used in the attack has been recovered by the police.
A case has been registered at the local police station and further investigation is underway. Since all those involved are juveniles, the case will be handled under the Juvenile Justice Act, police added.
More details are awaited.
Meanwhile, in another crime case reported earlier this week, Delhi Police confirmed that a woman (Jyoti w/o Sudarshan (35)) and her six-year-old daughter were found dead in the Sarita Vihar area. The bodies were shifted to AIIMS Hospital, where both were declared brought dead.
During preliminary investigation, a man (Deen Dayal (35)) who is an accountant living in the same building was identified as the prime suspect. Crime and forensic teams visited the spot and collected evidence. Police said the probe in that case is also continuing.
Authorities said strict legal action will be taken in both matters once investigations are completed.
