Union Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi has been caught on camera hurling abuse at an official who is facing corruption charges, at a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh’s Baheri city.
As per media reports, the incident occurred on Friday during a public meeting.
In the video, Gandhi can be seen lashing out at the official and body-shaming him. “Where is your honour?…. a human lives on honour/respect not on money…. and you are getting fat like a haram**** and on top of that you have the audacity to ask for bribe,” said Gandhi while addressing the public meeting.
The Union Minister went on to scold the official, adding: “Everyone here is accusing you of corruption charges, do you like such kind of treatment?”
Member of Lok Sabha from Pilibhit was attending a public meeting while on her tour to inspect the PDS (public distribution system) scheme when she was apprised of the malpractices by the official.
