Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge paid tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai on his death anniversary on Monday, hailing him as a “fiery warrior” of India’s national movement.

Lala Lajpat Rai, affectionately known as ‘Punjab Kesari’ and ‘Sher-e-Punjab,’ played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for independence. He was a key leader of the Indian National Congress and a vocal advocate for Hindu-Muslim unity and social reform.
