The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 182 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers in one of its biggest administrative reshuffles in recent months, reassigning Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and other officials to new postings across the state with immediate effect.
The large-scale exercise affects district-level administration in multiple regions. The transfer orders require the officers concerned to take charge of their new assignments without delay as part of the state’s administrative reorganisation.
182 PCS officers shifted across Uttar Pradesh
According to the official transfer list, Pushparnath Chaudhary has been moved from Amroha to Unnao as SDM. Lovleet Kaur, who was serving as SDM in Hathras, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Greater Noida Authority.
Mithlesh Kumar Tiwari has been transferred from Rae Bareli to Mainpuri as SDM. Gopal Sharma, earlier posted in Mainpuri, has been shifted to Bareilly in the same capacity.
Pratibha Mishra has been moved from Varanasi to Kanpur Dehat as SDM. Shubham Yadav, who was serving in Unnao, has been transferred as SDM, Bulandshahr.
Several SDMs assigned new districts
Pushpendra Patel has been shifted from Ghazipur to Ambedkar Nagar as SDM, while Surabhi Sharma has been posted as SDM in Baghpat.
Avadhesh Kumar Nigam has been transferred from Deoria to Firozabad. Veer Singh of the 2020 PCS batch, who was serving as Assistant Municipal Commissioner in Aligarh, has been appointed SDM of Rae Bareli.
Pragya Pandey has been moved from Hasanganj tehsil in Unnao to Barabanki as SDM.
The state administration has circulated the transfer list to the departments concerned and directed all officers to assume charge within the stipulated timeframe.
The reshuffle is among the largest administrative exercises undertaken by the Uttar Pradesh government in recent months.
