It's not even the end of March but the temperature across the country already seems to be breaking records with Bhira town in Maharashtra recording a maximum temperature of 46.5 degrees.

Further, the Met office has on Thursday warned of heat wave conditions in parts of central, west and north India.

While Akola town in Maharashtra recorded 44.1 degree Celsius, Barmer in Rajasthan recorded a temperature of 43.4 degrees Celsius and Narnaul in Haryana sizzled at 42 degrees Celsius. Ludhiana in Punjab also recorded a maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius.
