As campaigning for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections 2025 enters its final stretch, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a blistering attack on the RJD-Congress-led Mahagathbandhan, predicting that the Opposition alliance will set a “record for the most crushing defeat”.
Addressing a gathering in Arrah, Modi accused the RJD-Congress of supporting infiltrators.
”The RJD and the Congress are engaged in efforts to erase Bihar’s identity. These people are conducting ‘yatras’ in support of infiltrators in Bihar. These people are fully dedicated, body and soul, to saving the infiltrators,” Modi charged.
Modi expressed confidence that people of the state will bless the NDA with a record victory, while predicting a crushing defeat for “the leaders of ‘Jungle Raj'”.
“This time, the people of Bihar will ensure that NDA wins the elections with a record margin…The leaders of ‘Jungle Raaj’ will set a record for the most crushing defeat…,” the PM remarked.
Asserting that a developed Bihar is the foundation of developed India, Modi promised industrial development of Bihar and jobs for the state’s youth, saying, “Your dreams are our resolve.”
PM Modi also praised the joint manifesto of the NDA for Bihar elections, calling it an “honest declaration”.
The PM dismissed the manifesto of Mahagathbandhan as “a bundle of lies.”
” ‘Yeh public hai yeh sab janti hai’ (the public knows everything) ….,” he pointed out.
The Assembly elections 2025 in Bihar will take place in two phases. The first phase of voting is scheduled to be held on November 6 and the second phase on November 11.
The counting of votes will take place on November 14, and the results are also likely to be announced the same day.
