Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president and Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has claimed that just as the electorate delivered a mandate for a full-majority government in Bihar, and subsequently in Bengal, the NDA alliance is poised to receive a mandate with a two-thirds majority in Uttar Pradesh in the 2027 assembly polls.

Rajbhar suggested that Akhilesh Yadav is rattled about his future prospects and has now started making weird statements.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Om Prakash Rajbhar took a dig at Akhilesh Yadav, who is currently travelling to Kolkata to meet with Mamata Banerjee. He asserted that Mamata Banerjee does not respect the Constitution, and neither does Akhilesh Yadav. The SP chief is reportedly heading to Bengal on Thursday to meet with Mamata Banerjee. Rajbhar stated that Akhilesh Yadav is making this visit to convey the message that he, too, does not uphold the Constitution.

Rajbhar remarked that following the declaration of the Bengal election results, Mamata Banerjee stated that she would not resign from her post. This implies that she does not respect the Constitution, and now Akhilesh Yadav is going to extend his support to someone who disregards the Constitution. Rajbhar added that while Akhilesh Yadav often speaks of the Constitution, he himself does not respect it, and he is visiting Bengal specifically to convey this very message.

Rajbhar asserted that Akhilesh Yadav’s visit to Bengal will neither have any impact in Bengal nor in Uttar Pradesh.

Taking aim at the opposition parties, Rajbhar said that nothing can be achieved by combining spent cartridges and gathering losers. Tweeting from an air-conditioned room, waking up at 12 am, and contesting elections through press conferences in an air-conditioned room will not get them votes.

“It is surprising that while the entire NDA, whether it is summer, rainy season, or winter, is constantly reaching out to the public, meeting them in their joys and sorrows, these people will sit in air-conditioned rooms and tweet and contest elections through a press conference, so no one is going to vote for them on this basis.”

Meanwhile, Rajbhar also made sharp remarks regarding the murder of Suvendu Adhikari’s PA in Bengal.

He expressed grief over the murder of Shubhendu Adhikari’s PA Chandranath Rath in Bengal, saying, “This is a tragic incident. The people of Bengal have given the BJP their support so that law and order is maintained and people remain safe. If the government is formed, strict action will be taken. Such people will be tracked down, brought to justice, and sent behind bars.”

Earlier, in a post on his social media handle, Rajbhar said, “Today, I will tell you the story behind Akhilesh Yadav washing his hands of I-PAC. Mamata Didi hired a political strategy company named I-PAC. Along with giving work to that company, Mamata Didi also directed it to do complementary work for SP in UP.”

He further said, “According to media reports, the entire funding of I-PAC was coming from the coal scam of more than Rs 2,700 crore that took place during the tenure of the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal. Various investigations have revealed that I-PAC was being funded through hawala, and black money was being whitened. This fund from the coal scam of West Bengal was to come to the UP wing of I-PAC through hawala, which would prepare the election ground for SP.”

“The sad thing for Akhilesh ji was that Mamata Didi lost in West Bengal,” he added.
