The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very light rain in Delhi on Monday, with generally cloudy skies expected throughout the day.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius (near normal), while the minimum temperature may range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius (1–2 degrees below normal).
“Delhi/NCR is likely to experience very light to light rainfall over the coming week, with the possibility of moderate rainfall on 5th August,” IMD officials stated.
However, neighbouring states are expected to receive more intense rainfall.
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh for the next three days, with isolated extremely heavy falls over Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh today,” said the officials.
Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and advisories. No colour-coded weather alert has been issued for Delhi today by the IMD.
