The Congress leader called on party leaders and workers to reach out to the distressed people and ensure all possible help. “Congress leaders and workers should reach out to the distressed people and ensure all possible help,” he said.

The floods in West Bengal have caused widespread destruction, with several districts of North and South Bengal affected by heavy rainfall and landslides. The government has deployed rescue teams, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), to assist in relief operations.

Kharge’s appeal comes as the state government works to rescue those stranded and provide relief to the affected families. The Centre has assured that it is committed to providing all possible assistance to the affected states.
