Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut arrived in Kashi on Monday. On her arrival, she made it clear that she is on a religious pilgrimage to to the city of Baba Vishwanath and Goddess Parvati to pay obeisance.
As soon as Kangana arrived at the Kaal Bhairav Temple for darshan, she was surrounded by her fans and started taking selfies with her. During the visit, she greeted everyone with folded and raised hands.
After visiting the temple, Kangana shopped in the narrow streets of Kashi. She said she would enjoy Banarasi cuisine and attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening.
Visibly excited after her visit to Baba Vishwanath, Kangana said, “After the construction of the corridor, we can see Baba’s grand and divine form. The temple has become even more grand and divine than it was before. The cleanliness of Kashi is a sight to behold.
“The entire country is seeing this golden age and Amrit Kaal in the Ram Rajya. Tomorrow, the prime minister will hoist the flag at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya; this will be a proud moment for every Indian,” she added.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kangana said, “Today, the prime minister is the most popular leader not only in India but in the entire world. The blessings of Kashi Vishwanath are always upon him. He had said in an interview that Kashi has adopted him. I have also come to seek the blessings of that same Kashi Maiya.”
Earlier, Kangana expressed deep grief over the demise of legendary actor Dharmendra. She said, “The entire film industry is in mourning. It is difficult for an artist like Dharmendra ji to be born again.”
