Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP government of playing with the future of the youth, saying jobs and employment are not even on the saffron party’s agenda.
He said only when the BJP is removed from power, the youth of the state will get real employment opportunities.
Akhilesh Yadav extended his moral support to the movement announced by competitive exam aspirants in Prayagraj, saying that this is not a political issue but a question of the future of the youth. He said the Samajwadi Party has always stood with the competitive exam aspirants and will continue to support them. Corruption in examinations, paper leaks, and the long-term postponement of recruitment processes have mentally frustrated and disappointed millions of young people.
He said a large number of posts are lying vacant in several important departments of the state government, including the Education Department, but the BJP government has been avoiding recruitments. “Students and young people, who have been preparing for competitive exams for years, are not getting jobs due to the lack of recruitment.”
According to Akhilesh Yadav, the policies of the BJP government have pushed the future of the youth into darkness.
Recalling BJP’s promise to provide employment in its election manifesto, the SP president said it is now not ready to even discuss the issue. He alleged that the ruling party is diverting public attention from real problems like unemployment, inflation, and farmers’ distress by promoting issues that divide society. “The BJP is a divisive party. It creates controversy everywhere, engages in divisive politics, and pushes the real issues of the people to the background.”
\He claimed that as soon as the BJP is removed from power, employment opportunities will increase in the state, and the youth will get their due.
He clarified that he fully supports the demands of the competitive exam aspirants regarding their problems, transparency in commissions, and timely recruitments. The party says that it is the responsibility of any government to formulate policies in line with the aspirations of the youth, and the BJP government has failed to fulfill this responsibility.
