Stage set for tomorrow’s polling in high profile Udhampur LS seat amid high security
Jammu and Kashmir has five Lok Sabha constituencies and each one will go to polls in separate phases because of security reasons.
Heavy shelling was reported from along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri sector as Pakistan on Monday violated ceasefire, yet again, officials said.
According to reports, Pakistan began firing at Indian posts near the Line of Control (LoC) early morning which was retaliated by the Indian Army.
However, there was no damage reported in the firing so far.

The fresh ceasefire violation comes just days after 500 people were forced to abandon their homes in the state’s Uri sector and migrate elsewhere.
The Pakistani Army has been violating the bilateral ceasefire agreement on the LoC with impunity since the beginning of 2018.
