Shahid and Farooq are residents of Saidpora Payeen village while Raja is resident of Manzgam, Kulgam.

On Friday, terrorists had kidnapped an eleventh class student and brutally shot him dead in South Kashmir.

Later, the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorists released the gruesome footage of a 17-year-old youth being pumped with bullets in the ISIS style. The HM claimed responsibility for the execution-style killing in first such move in recent years.

The slain teen, identified as Nadeem Manzoor from Safanagri village of south Kashmir’s Shopian, was kidnapped by terrorists on Thursday evening from his home. In an audio message, Hizbul Mujahideen’s operational commander Riyaz Naikoo owned responsibility for Manzoor’s killing. “After proper investigations by our ‘Do or Die Squad’, he was found involved in informing the forces about two militants,” Naikoo said in the audio message and warned “other informers” of similar fate.

Manzoor had been accused by terrorists of informing security forces about two militants, Idrees Ahmad (Chota Abrar) of Safari and Amir Amin (Abu Shoban) of Awneera, who were killed in Shopian’s Safanagri village on 6 November.

Reacting to killing of the youth, former chief minister Omar Abdullah tweeted; “The cold blooded murder of an 11th standard student by the Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit is deeply disturbing. There can be no justification for this act & should force those who sympathise with these outfits to question how these murders make Kashmir a better, freer place”.

It is worth mentioning that the pro-Pakistan separatists, Syed Alishah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik, who make hue and cry against the centre and the security forces on elimination of terrorists, have maintained silence on the barbaric killing of the school boy by HM terrorists.
