ADG BSF visits Indo-Bangladesh border ahead of 2nd phase of polls
Mr Gandhi is scheduled to visit the area under North Bengal Frontier BSF till 25 April.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday condemned the killing of Border Security Force soldier Muhammad Ramzan Parray at his home in Hajin area of Bandipora district by militants.
The Chief Minister said that it is unfortunate that he was killed when he was on leave and had come home to join his family.
She said it is regrettable that the unending cycle of violence in the state is taking a heavy toll of our society, particularly the young and appealed all segments of society to join in putting an end to it.

Mehbooba has conveyed her sympathies to the bereaved family and also wished the injured family members a speedy recovery.
