An Indian student was brutally assaulted in an alleged racial attack in Adelaide, Australia. The attack left him grievously injured.
The incident occurred on July 19 at around 9:22 pm (local time). Charanpreet Singh, 23, was out with his wife near Kintore Avenue in the heart of Adelaide, where a group of men thrashed him and allegedly used racial slurs.
A video of the incident that has gone viral on social media captured the assault. In the video, the unidentified men wielding metal knuckles are seen punching Singh.
As he fell on the ground, they continued to kick him in the stomach and face before fleeing the scene. A woman, probably his wife, was heard pleading in the background.

Following the assault, Singh was immediately rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. He suffered multiple injuries, including brain trauma, facial fractures, and a broken nose in the assault.
According to reports, police have registered a case in this regard and arrested a 20-year-old from Enfield. He has been charged with assault causing harm.
