The Uttar Pradesh government’s IGRS (Integrated Grievance Redressal System) portal has not only ensured transparency but also delivered speedy justice to citizens through administrative reforms and technological upgrades.

According to the IGRS report in June, the Devipatan division has emerged as the top performer in grievance redressal across the state. Varanasi secured the second position, followed by Basti in third.

Devipatan Divisional Commissioner Shashi Bhushan Lal Sushil stated here on Friday that public grievances are being resolved on a priority basis, as per the Chief Minister’s directives. Transparent and time-bound resolutions are being pursued across the division’s districts, Shravasti, Bahraich, Gonda, and Balrampur.

The divisional commissioner himself monitors the grievance redressal process and regularly reviews departmental reports. Feedback is also taken from randomly selected complainants to verify whether appropriate action has been taken.

The IGRS portal has become a vital tool in ensuring the timely and transparent resolution of complaints. With consistent improvements based on the CM’s instructions, efficiency has been significantly enhanced.

The Varanasi and Basti divisions have ensured swift action and systemic improvements through proactive monitoring and direct feedback from complainants. Field visits by officials have further strengthened the accountability and effectiveness of the system.
