ICAI declares result for Foundation, Intermediate and Final 2025 on official website; 11,466 candidates pass

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Monday declared the results for Foundation, Intermediate, and Chartered Accountant Final 2025 on their official website. Candidates can visit icai.nic.in to check the results.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA examinations for 2025, declaring that 11,466 candidates have qualified as Chartered Accountants this year.

Mukund Agiwal from Dhamnod, Madhya Pradesh, topped the CA Final Examination with 500 marks (83.33%). In the Intermediate Examination, Neha Khanwani from Jaipur secured the first rank with 505 marks out of 600 (84.17%), while L Rajalaxmi from Chennai topped the Foundation Examination with 360 marks (90%). The results were shared through an official press release uploaded by CA Rajesh Sharma, ICAI Council Member.

In the CA Final Examination, 51,955 candidates appeared for Group 1, of which 12,811 passed, recording a 24.66% pass percentage. For Group 2, 32,273 appeared and 8,151 cleared the exam, with a 25.26% pass rate. In both groups combined, 16,800 candidates appeared and 2,727 came out with flying colours, registering a 16.23% pass rate.

In the Intermediate Examination, 93,074 students appeared for Group 1, of which 8,780 passed, marking an 8.43% pass rate. In Group 2, 69,768 took the exam and 18,938 qualified, with a 27.14% pass percentage. For both groups together, 36,398 candidates appeared and 3,663 passed the exam, showing a 10.06% pass rate.

In the Foundation Examination, 51,120 male candidates came to give the exam, 8,046 emerged successful— a 15.74% pass rate. Among 47,707 female candidates, 6,563 passed, marking a 13.76% pass rate.

Other top performers include Tejas Munanda from Hyderabad, who secured the second rank in the Final Examination with 492 marks (82%), and Bakul Gupta from Alwar, who came third with 489 marks (81.5%). In the Intermediate Examination, Kriti Sharma from Ahmedabad ranked second with 503 marks, while Akshat Birendra Nautiyal from Mumbai ranked third with 500 marks. In the Foundation Examination, Prem Agarwal secured second position with 354 marks, followed by Neel Rajesh Shah in third position with 353 marks.

The CA Final exams were conducted on September 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14, the Intermediate exams on September 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15, and the Foundation exams on September 16, 18, 20, and 22, 2025. Earlier, there had been speculations that the results would be declared on November 3.
