The Himachal Pradesh Congress government will organize a state-level function in Mandi district on December 11 to mark the completion of three years of its tenure.
A high-powered committee comprising Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, and Dharampur MLA Chander Shekhar has been constituted to finalize the venue for the event.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu shared this information while presiding over a meeting here on Wednesday to review the preparations for the celebration. He directed all departments to ensure that every arrangement is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The Chief Minister said the event would prominently highlight the positive transformation achieved through the government’s ‘Vyavstha Parivartan’ (Systemic Change) initiatives during the past three years.
A Coffee Table Book showcasing the government’s achievements and reforms across departments will also be released on the occasion.
Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister, Ram Subhag Singh, has been designated as the coordinator for compiling and finalizing the information for the publication.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has implemented major reforms in education, health, and the rural economy, benefitting people across Himachal Pradesh. Signs of economic recovery are already visible, with a steady increase in revenue generation, he added.
He further said that beneficiaries of various government schemes would participate in the event, which will also honour individuals who have made outstanding contributions in different fields.
Sukhu directed officers to prepare a two-year roadmap to further accelerate developmental activities and ensure the effective implementation of government priorities at the grassroots level.
He emphasized the need to deliver more services at citizens’ doorsteps, enhance digitalization, and strengthen good governance across all departments.
