Two Uzbek nationals caught circulating fake US Dollars in Delhi
With the arrests, the Delhi Police claimed to have dismantled a fake foreign currency racket.
The Haryana Vigilance Bureau has caught district education officer (DEO), Nuh red-handed while accepting bribe in lieu of facilitating the purchase order for supply of school desks in favour of the complainant.
The officer identified as Ramphal Dhankar was demanding a bribe Rs 10 lakh in lieu of ensuring the purchase order for the supply of school desks in favour of the complainant. These desks were to be supplied in various schools of district Nuh. The accused officer has already taken Rs Two lakh bribe, an official spokesperson said.
The complainant, who did not wish to pay the bribe, approached the Vigilance Bureau. Accordingly, a trap was laid and he was caught red-handed accepting a bribe.A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against the accused in Gurugram.
