Gujarat polls: Rahul Gandhi rakes up ‘inflation’ question to PM Modi

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi asked another to the BJP star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeping his promise of asking one question everyday to him in the run-up of Gujarat Assembly elections.

Gandhi yet again questioned the PM Modi on the ever-rising prices and if the BJP is only for the rich in the country.

The question put forth to Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and PM Modi was regarding the skyrocketing prices of basic commodities and the inflation in the country.

Gandhi has questioned the steps taken by the BJP-led NDA at the center, and sought an explanation of the demonetisation and GST implementation process, as they have done more harm to the common people.

Gandhi termed the two steps as anti-people and that the rash decisions of the government have hurt the public. He said that, the GST has taken away all the liquidity that the common people.

Rahul Gandhi has directly blamed the BJP government for adopting pro-rich policies at the cost of the poor people. In a Tweet the Congress scion has mentioned:

Gandhi has also mentioned a list of common items with a comparison of their prices in 2014 and now in 2017. He has questioned why this price rise has happened during of BJP government tenure. Rahul has posted rates for the commodities including; Gas Cylinder, Pulses, Tomato, Onion, Milk and Diesel.

In the following tweet, Rahul Gandhi has mentioned about the changes that the Congress will bring about if voted to power. The tweet says,

The misrule of the BJP would end and the framers will get correct rates for their produce, there would be ample availability of electricity, farmer loans would be waived off, and every villager will get his deserved dues. Farmers will get back their rights under the Congress government.

The Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi seems to not only question the BJP and the PM Modi but also indirectly give the solution in the form of the Congress rule for the coming Gujarat Elections.
