Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said his government has been carrying out development works in every assembly segment without discrimination on the basis of political parties representing them.
Addressing social media warriors at a meet organised by the ruling BJP, the chief minister said, “The government, without being partial or discriminatory in any way, has provided Rs 28 crore to each of the 200 assembly segments to fulfill commitment of all round development of the state made in our manifesto”.
“Our manifesto was based on aspirations and needs of the people and we have been making untiring efforts in realising people’s aspirations and fulfilling our promises. During our two-year regime, we have fulfilled 70 per cent of our commitments for works that we had promised to implement in five years of our term in office,” the CM asserted.
He said contrary to the good governance under the incumbent regime, the state was subjected to misrule during the previous Congress government. The process of development was hampered, crimes against women were on the rise, law and order situation was bad, repeated paper leaks defeated interests of the youths in multiple ways.
On the reach and impact of the social media platforms and outlets, he appealed to the warriors of social media to keep people updated on the state government’s good governance and also the efforts of development being made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre, for in the state and the country.
